
ACTE - Young Creators Competition 2015, promoted by Europe’s Association of Textile Collectivities, ended up with a Portuguese winner.
Tânia Nicola, with her men’s collection developed within the ESAD Product Design–Fashion MA, presented at the last edition of “New Blood” (Sangue Novo) at ModaLisboa, was the winner on the 1st category, destined to fashion students, among other 7 competitors from Belgium, Spain, France, Poland and Tunisia.
For the collection Autumn/Winter 2015/2016, Tânia Nicole got inspiration on the origins of skate and on the suit-dressed men of NYC, presenting 3 male’s co-ords with sportive details. She was awarded with three thousand euros.
ESAD guaranteed the first place in the last two editions of this European fashion award with the students Eduardo Amorim and Catarina Ferreira, in the 2014 and 2013 editions, respectively.
