Ricardo Ladeira, illustrator and artist from Oporto with several published works, presents an open class at ESAD, in the scope of the Post-Graduation in Illustration and Digital Animation.

Ricardo has a degree in Art and Design by Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra, where he started his activity as an illustrator and artist. He has collaborated with various entities, such as Casa Pia, Sábado magazine, Licor Beirão, Renault, Museu Municipal de Coimbra or Leya.

Throughout his career, he has received several awards: 3rd Edition of the Pingo Doce Children's Literature Award, Lusophone Trofa 2020 Competition, Young Aveiro Criador Award 2021 and Atlantic Axis Illustration Biennial 2021. In addition, he regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions.

The open class takes place on 16 December at 6:00 PM.
