'Reusing Furniture' is an exhibition that is the result of a workshop led by Paolo Deganello, from 1 to 5 May, and brings together the requalification projects carried out by the students of the Master's in Interior Design. The exhibition publicises this work and promotes a new perspective on design, sustainability and the power of human creativity.
With the support of [Maiambiente][2], the students carried out a relevant exercise in the context of the current economic and environmental crisis: some objects at the end of their life cycle were rethought and requalified with the aim of achieving maximum aesthetic and functional quality, using as few material resources as possible. By restoring classic forms and incorporating contemporary elements, they have managed to transform what was apparently ordinary furniture into works of art capable of reflecting a harmonious fusion of functionality, aesthetics and environmental awareness.
The exhibition is on show in the ESAD atrium until 7 December. On the last day of the exhibition, at 5pm, the Solidarity Sale takes place. The money raised will go entirely to a social organisation.
The pieces are now available for sale online on the ESAD website. The money raised will be donated to a social organisation.
