The ex-student in Product Design, Hugo Vaz, in association with Alexandre Sousa, has been distinguished with the prize High Quality Design at Red Dot Design Award 2015.

Hugo Vaz run with the project Lavatório Nature, designed to AMA Design, which is a lavatory in column that articulates cork with technological materials in one single piece without junctions or fissures.

Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen is the creator of The Red Dot Award, and it has been one of the most respected design competitions in the world. The Red Dot Design Award 2015, that celebrates this year 60 years of existence, has counted with 4,928 entries, 56 countries and 83 winners of the Red Dot’s prize. 38 international specialists constitute the jury. The official award delivery ceremony will happen on June 29th, 2015.
