The students of the Packaging UC participated in Recreate Packaging, an international competition promoted by Stora Enso under the motto A wasted opportunity, with the goal of reducing Food waste.

At this stage of the competition, 4 of the finalist projects are from ESAD students. Voting is underway to choose the Public Choice Award, after 3 packages have already been distinguished in the Jury Awards category. The project with the most votes from the public will receive a prize of 2000 euros.

Recreate Packaging aims to distinguish new packaging ideas developed on paper and cardboard. The aim of the competition is to find solutions, innovative and sustainable projects, which explore new concepts, functions and ways of packaging food products, taking into account their durability and sustainability.

NutriBot Kit
Mariana Marques Packaging in the shape of a colourful robot, aimed at the younger public. The packaging mechanism has an energy structure that is only activated if the child eats the (healthy) food inside. The kit contains dried fruit, biscuits and cereal bars, all of which are light and easy to carry.
