Marta Costa, alumni of the Degree in Fashion Design, won first prize in the contest 'REBELPIN - Fashion awards by ACTE', by public vote.
Under the theme Genderless, anywhere, anytime, there were 10 finalist designers from Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Poland. Lisa Ivarsson was the winner of the jury award.
Marta Costa, 23 years old, presented three coordinated pieces from the US collection, using identity in the work as an antagonism between a genderless punk aesthetic, combined with elements from her childhood. The work stands out for the use of text with protest messages, prints and attention to detail.
