RAZ – Risografia de A a Z [risography from A to Z] is a collaborative publication, composed of 4 series of typographic illustrations. Starting from the selection of a letter, and of a word started by it, this project aims to create an illustrated alphabet, serving as a motto for the visual exploration of the risograph printing technique.

Through the 26 letters of the alphabet, students visually explore certain concepts, test different graphics in search of an authorial record or simply try the technique as a preponderant part of this creative process. Risography is a digital printing process created in Japan in 1980, which has been proliferating in artistic and editorial contexts over the past decade.

The curricular unit of Laboratório Digital II focuses on the introduction of concepts about digital, in areas such as print design, with emphasis on editorial design, where the ambivalence between digital and analog is constant.
