Diogo Morais Oliveira, lawyer and legal adviser, is at ESAD to present the conference A Propriedade Intelectual — Noções Práticas para Criativos (Intellectual Property: practical guidance for creatives), on February 27th.

This conference’s objective is to analyse the legal basics of Intellectual Property Law, to present copyright licenses, public domain tools and discuss open business models.

Diogo Morais Oliveira has a law degree from Universidade Nova. He joined the European Master's program in Human Rights and Democracy, where he dedicated himself to the study of cultural rights, writing the thesis Education as an Intervention Strategy to Empower Children. He was a fellow of CEDIS / FDUNL at the United Nations Commission on International Law and at the Observatory of Portuguese Legislation and member of the Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth of Esposende (2014-2018). He is currently a lawyer and legal adviser at DÍNAMO10 in matters of intellectual property and legal coordinator of Creative Commons Portugal.
