ESAD developed, during Isea Summer School, the Isea project, an underwater simulator.

Isea is a project funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, aims to communicate science about the deep sea of the Azores, through an immersive scenario of virtual reality.

This project results from the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team in the areas of Social and Physical-Natural Sciences, Design and Engineering, with the participation of ESAD, Faculty of Sciences of Porto, Faculty of Engineering of Porto, University of Austin - Texas, Astrophysics Center of Porto and Live Science Center-Azores.

The project was integrated by ESAD professors Alexandre Jacinto, Marta Varzim, Rafael Coelho and Jeremy Aston.
