The conclusion of the project Progressive Sustainability in Fashion: Design and Product Development in the Context of Material Culture, coordinated by Trier University of Applied Sciences (Germany), under the Erasmus+ programme, will happen at ESAD.
ESAD’s team members are lecturers Anita Gonçalves and Joana Teodoro, three students of the degree in Fashion Design (Mafalda Ferreira, Rodrigo Martins and Rita Couto), one student of the degree in Product Design (Mariana Regalo) and one student of the degree in Communication Design (Leonor Mendes).
There was an intermediate presentation of the project in Trier, from 8 to 12 July. Besides ESAD, also Birmingham City University (Birmingham/UK) and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands) also take part in this project, which aims to explore possibilities within the circular economy strategies in Fashion Design. This project also has the support and business/industrial direction of the fashion brand C&A.
