The students of the Packaging curricular module, under the Degree in Communication Design, were selected for the shortlist of the Pro Packaging Young Designers Award Competition 2019 in the categories Creative Cartonboard Packaging Food & Drink; Creative Cartonboard Packaging All Others; Creative Cartonboard Ideas and Save the Planet.

Fernando Bardon, one of the students in the shortlist of the Pro Carton Young Designers Award 2019, is now one of the 24 selected finalists, with the work 'Super Diablos Firecrackers'.

Pro Carton Young Designers Award is considered one of the main annual competitions in Europe dedicated to young talents for the design of sustainable cartons.

The jury meeting to determine the 2019 winners takes place in The Hague and the winners will be announced at the European Carton Makers Association Gala, in September 2019, in Malta.
