Fibrenamics Green, an international platform from the University of Minho, that explores innovative waste-based products, selected the winners of the third edition of the Green Think Tank competition, according to criteria of merit, innovation, creativity, sustainability and technical feasibility.

Bruno Ferreira, a student of the 2nd year of the Degree in Product Design, won the first prize of the contest that aimed to find the best creative solutions that applied the development of products based on fibrous residues, wood, plastics and minerals with new forms, utilities and finishes.

The ESAD student won the big prize with the Mateo Lamp project, a lamp that can also be a piece of decoration and incorporates plastic and wood waste. Bruno Ferreira won a prize money of 500 euros.
