ESAD promotes, for the third time, a talent contest through the attribution of an award in honor of one of the school’s co-founders and lecturer of Art History at the Faculty of Belas Artes from the University of Porto, José Coelho dos Santos (1943-1997).

The award features a Scholarship (€12.500) for the attendance and realization of one of the Degrees available at ESAD Matosinhos and it is intended for 12th grade students in the field of Arts, among others areas, from any School/College from Middle Schools or Professional Schools.

The disclosure of the winner and the award ceremony occurred on September 12, 2016.

Loredana Moreira Cervi, from the Artistic and Professional School Árvore, was the winner of the 2015 edition for the Award ESAD/Coelho dos Santos. Diogo Filipe da Silva Matos, Gabriella Sena Rodrigues from the Artistic School Soares dos Reis and Joana Bastos Silva from the Middle School Dr. Gomes de Almeida, were among the 4 finalists.
