Precious Plastic Portugal is an innovative and sustainable project, made from recycled plastic, designed by João Barata Feyo (Architect), Tom Rider (Designer) and Irina Übler (Designer).
This project aims to encourage designers, architects, engineers, students, freelancers, companies and the general public to create their own products from recycled plastics. In this sense, a conference and demonstration of the equipment used to collect, remodel and reuse the recycled plastic with machines built for this purpose organized by OPO'Lab, on May 2, takes place at ESAD.
Precious Plastic Portugal assumes a fundamental strategic role in the context in which it operates, establishing important partnerships with other social actors, such as public authorities, schools and associations, cultural and scientific events.
OPO'Lab is a multidisciplinary center and the first FabLab in Portugal dedicated to thinking and exploring the creative use of new technologies in architecture, engineering, design and other artistic fields, promoting research, education and culture activities.
