Rafaela Santos, finalist of the Degree in Fashion Design, represents ESAD in the competition of young European designers Porto.ModaPortugal, with the collection | a 1 e a |.

Porto.ModaPortugal, organized by CENIT - Associative Center for Textile Intelligence, is dedicated to the coronation of young designers in the race to Fashion Design Competition, challenging the clothing industry and European fashion. Portugal, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom are the seven countries in competition.

The works are evaluated based on criteria of creativity and innovation, silhouette, quality of execution and originality. The jury of the contest, which includes experts from various countries, will award a prize for Best Collection, worth € 5,000, and a * First Prize * per country, worth € 2,500.

Rita Sá, former student of the Degree in Fashion Design, represented ESAD in the last edition. This year's edition of Porto.ModaPortugal runs from December 16 to 20.
