The publishing company Planeta Tangerina was born out of the interest of developing several communication supports (books, magazines, pedagogical documents) that can successfully communicate, through the clarity of contents associated to the great quality of images and graphic features.

Operating since 1999, Planet Tangerina publishes authors like Isabel Minhós Martins, Bernardo Carvalho, Madalena Matoso, Yara Kono, Manuela Castro Neves, Sérgio Godinho, among others.

It was considered Editora Revelação (Revelation Publisher) at the LER/Booktailors Prizes in 2009, and Melhor Editora Infantil Europeia (Best European Children’s Publisher) at BOP Prize, awarded by the International Children’s Book Fair Bologna, in 2013.

Many of the books of Planeta Tangerina are being published in other languages, having been published in Spain, France, Brazil, Korea, USA, Mexico, Germany, Norway, Greece, Italy or Poland.
