Graphic Design and Cinema is a collaborative editorial project carried out in partnership with ESNE - Escuela Universitaria de Diseño (Madrid) and ESAD to promote a cultural and professional exchange between students and educational institutions, with the support of the ERASMUS+ international mobility programme.
The celebration of the 100th anniversary of the film Nosferatu, a symphony of horror, by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, is the basis for a project that goes beyond the relationship between graphic design and cinema. This project is coordinated by teachers Carolina García (ESNE), Renato Seixas (ESNE) and João Lemos (ESAD) and involves more than 100 students from ESAD and ESNE.
The working groups of this workshop - on 24 and 25 March at ESAD - will analyse the film, to select the most emblematic moments and identify the graphic design elements that can be used as material for editorial design.
