Graphic Design and Cinema is a collaborative editorial project carried out in partnership with ESNE - Escuela Universitaria de Diseño (Madrid), with the aim of promoting cultural and professional exchange between students and educational institutions, and supported by the ERASMUS+ programme.
The celebration of the 50th anniversary of Stanley Kubrick's film A Clockwork Orange is the motto for a project that goes beyond the connection between graphic design and cinema. Kubrick's work is still relevant nowadays because it brings to mind a dystopian future - a recurring theme in the director's work - and it is an iconic reference, both narratively and visually/creatively.
The project was coordinated by Lecturers Renato Seixas (ESNE) and João Lemos (ESAD).
