The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a collaborative book, the result of a project developed within the modules of Digital Lab II and Typography, in the scope of the Degree in Communication Design.

The publication is composed by 4 series of illustrations, that launch a reflection on contemporary creation processes, starting from the ambivalence between digital and analog as a preponderant part of the creative process.

Through the articulation of analogue and digital tools, students explored visual concepts, tested new expressions, or simply experimented different technique in the production of graphic and typographic content.

Colour, line and stain define a varied visual lexicon, establishing dialogues by the juxtaposition of patterns and textures; creating vibrant visual tensions; and interconnecting the diverse visual approaches of this graphic object, under a graphic expression coming from the printing techniques.
