LEXUS/ESAD Design Camp is a six-day creative workshop, inspired by LEXUS Portugal and hosted by ESAD College of Art & Design. The purpose of this meeting is to encourage and stimulate the imagination, create innovative ideas and to send design proposals to the prestigious LEXUS Design Award. This event is strongly supported by both parties, involving specialist teachers and international designers to make a unique experience on an interdisciplinary level.

The LEXUS Design Award is an international competition for creators from around the world that support projects from four categories: Environment, Product, Technology and Fashion. A jury will select twelve finalists exhibited at Milan Design Week 2018 and four with prototypes. Innovation and design are key components for the LEXUS jury, who believe in the power of creativity to change the world and build a better future.

In addition to the opportunity in competing for the LEXUS Design Award, LEXUS Portugal will honour the best work produced within the design camp with a special prize.
