ESAD is part of the first issue of Journal Arts Culture Design, dedicated to 'The Entrancement of Ruins'.

Journal Arts Culture Design is a biannual multidisciplinary digital publication, published by the Documentation Laboratory of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Culture of the University of Western Attica in collaboration with five institutions of higher education: ESAD - College of Arts and Design (Portugal), University of Nicosia (Cyprus), ESD - School of Design of Madrid (Spain), National University of Arts of Bucharest (Romania) and Academy of Fine Arts of Gdansk (Poland).

The aim is to create an academic forum for sharing ideas, projects and discoveries on design, applied arts and culture,. It seeks to unite theory, technology, human studies and artistic practice in a single territory.

Ana Rainha, João Lemos, Margarida Azevedo and Marta Varzim, ESAD lecturers, are part of the Scientific Committee of Journal Arts Culture Design.
