The designer [Cláudia Garrido][1], is at ESAD for an open class on the theme Introduction to Knitwear, as part of the degree in Fashion Design. This class aims to explore the potential of knitted knits, in manual and industrial processes.
The Escola Artística e Profissional Árvore (Artistic and Professional School Tree) was crucial for Cláudia Garrido to start making her own collections and those for other brands, and producing them in China (quality control), a path she interrupted to complete her degree in Fashion Design at ESAD. From 2011 to 2014 was a regular presence at Portugal Fashion | BLOOM, where his production made a difference in the creation of menswear. This participation inspires and complements her professional activity as a designer in a Portuguese company specialized in knitted knitwear. It is in this return to the industry that (re)invents and enhances the production of knitted knitwear, through the creation of various collections, from home textiles to clothing or homewear, thus assuming the specialization in this industrial strand, which remains his area of choice.
The class takes place on April 27, at ESAD.
