Gonçalo Furtado holds a degree from the University of Porto, a master's degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a PhD from the University College of London. Author of several books on cyberculture, architecture and new technologies, he's currently a professor of Theory of Architecture and Design at the University of Porto, in master's and doctoral programs.

In the scope of the Degree in Interior Design, he presentes at ESAD the conference Architecture: Some Relations with Art and Design in the 20th Century.
