
Jeremy Aston, ESAD lecturer and esad-idea researcher, is part of the first German Design Council event in Portugal, under the motto Design Counts.
The event takes place at the Goethe Institut, in Lisbon, on May 19th, and gathers personalities connected to design, teaching and the business world. Design Counts intends to open space for discussion about good design, innovation and how to build a strong brand identity and is aimed at designers and companies from all sectors of activity that see design as a factor of innovation and differentiation.
The German Design Council was established in 1953 in Germany with the aim of strengthening German industry through design, and has become one of the leading international centres for communication and knowledge transfer regarding design, branding and innovation.
This event has the support of ESAD, AEP - Associação Empresarial de Portugal, Câmara de Comércio Luso-Alemã, Enterprise Europe Network and Goethe Institut in Portugal and the participation of the Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon University, Experimentadesign, Vista Alegre, Bosch Portugal and European Enterprise Network.
