George Hardie is a renown graphic designer, illustrator and professor of Graphic Design at the University of Brighton, teaching on postgraduate courses.

He will be at ESAD for an open lecture and for an intensive 3-day workshop for year one students of the MA in Communication Design.

George Hardie was a partner at NTA studios and designed many legendary record covers (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin) with Hipgnosis. He has worked as a designer/illustrator for almost forty years. He's a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI). In 2005 he was elected a Royal Designer for Industry. In 2006 he toured Australia as AGDA International Speaker and taught and exhibited at Nagoya University of Arts as a visiting professor.
