
Partnership between ESAD and Sonae allows students of the Degree in Interior Design to participate in the international contest of [WORLD RETAIL CONGRESS][1], organized in DUBAI, United Arab Emirates.
The main objective is the development of commercial spaces for brands that only have digital expression, making the transition to real physical spaces.
The students have access to several coaching sessions organized by Sonae, in order to prepare them for the more specific areas of business model development and merchandising, as well as the analysis of the business model and economic viability of the designed space, adapted to the identity of the selected brand.
The ESAD teachers also structured specific support sessions in an interdisciplinary project that integrated several curricular units of the Degree of Interior Design.
The ESAD winning group — with Adriana Martins, Bárbara Vasconcelos, Clara Koehler, Flávio Silva and Sérgio Cruz — will compete in Dubai with other higher education institutions, from 4 to 6 April.
