Margarida Azevedo and João Lemos, ESAD lecturers, took part in an Erasmus+ mobility programme at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Spain. The trip also allowed the teachers to take part in the 1st Foro Iberoamericano de Investigación y Diseño (Research and Design Forum) of ID Iberoamérica Diseña!, which took place from 6 to 8 November at Casa de América and Instituto Cervantes in Madrid, Spain.

The Foro Iberoamericano de Investigación y Diseño is an initiative that aims to boost the potential of research in the area of design, to create a community not only for researchers and design professionals, but also for universities, companies and public institutions. In this way, the initiative aims to make Ibero-American design known throughout the world, serving as a platform and network for connecting professors, universities and teaching centres, students and design professionals, inviting reflection and debate on the formation of the discipline.
