The Portuguese Illustration is one of the 17 exhibits of Setubal’s Illustration Festival’s 2nd edition, where illustrators come together to display their illustrated opinions.

In this exhibit three main authors are highlighted: António Jorge Gonçalves, the exhibited contemporary author, Manuel Ribeiro de Pavia, the consecrated illustrator , in an exhibit shaped by the designer Jorge Silva. Other projects from various authors are also displayed, such as André carrilho, Cristina Sampaio, André da Loba, João Fazenda, André Letria, Luís Afonso, Manuel João Vieira and Gonçalo Duarte, or also Lima de Freitas, Maria Keil or João Abel Manta, among many others, with the orientation of João Paulo Cotrim, the event’s director.

The schools are also invited to participate and, therefore, ESAD presents the projects of its students from the Post Graduated Course in Illustration and Digital Animation, coordinated by the lecturer and illustrator José Manual Saraiva. The event will occur from June 1 to July 3.
