On its 19th edition, FEST - New Filmmakers Festival | New Cinema aims to create a space where new filmmakers can divulge their work and share knowledge and opportunities. In the scope of a partnership with ESAD, FEST presented its programme at the school.

With several activities for general audience and professionals, the FEST presents some of the most innovative films by emerging filmmakers, in a programme with around 200 films; which also includes film sessions for the younger audience; showcases and concerts by more than 18 artists; Q&As with creative agents, masterclasses, workshops and debates.

Parallel to the festival - which takes place in Espinho from 19th to 26th June - also runs the FEST PRO, one of the platforms of choice for emerging filmmakers to meet, deepen their cinematographic knowledge and develop new projects.
