The ESAD World Graphics Day has returned and it takes place April 27, setting the date when Icograda – International Council of Graphic Design Associations was created.
ESAD is reuniting once more a group of designers/studios to celebrate, not only the vitality and diversity of the Portuguese graphic design, but also to promote a discussion forum regarding the power and responsibility of design, which also affirms itself as an ideological reaction to times of crisis.
The event is commissioned by José Bártolo, chairman of ESAD’s Scientific Council and one of those responsible for ESAD IDEA Investigation in Art and Design, with graphic design of Elias Marques and Sérgio Correia, lectures at ESAD and creators of the urban intervention project T.I.N.A.
The sixth edition of ESAD World Graphics Day will occur at the auditorium, at 15:00. Free entrance subject to room capacity.
The event will also receive the special participation of Riça, with the music Punhos no Ar.
