Pedro Carvalho de Almeida (1972, Porto, Portugal) is currently a PhD student at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, University of the Arts London.

Graduated in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, has an MA degree in ‘Design, Materials and Product Management’ from the University of Aveiro, where he is also Assistant Professor. As a former graphic designer he developed interests in culturally specific brand imagery in relation to design practice, education and research.
