Kellenberger–White is a London-based design consultancy, established in 2009 by Eva Kellenberger and Sebastian White, that creates identities, publications, exhibitions and digital applications for cultural institutions, businesses and individuals.
They believe each design problem demands its own particular formal solution. This case-by-case approach relies on exploration and enquiry, and therefore the final design solutions are appropriate and considered. It is their ambition to create unique solutions that subvert expectations and challenge preconceptions. Central to their approach is a desire to unlock the poetic potential of a wide range of materials and craft techniques (both in digital and print), producing a visually diverse and tactile range of work. As a small-team studio, they often work with specialists and collaborating partners, such as programmers, 3D designers, writers and editors, font developers, and photographers and illustrators.
Many of their clients are in the field of the arts and culture; recent commissions include identity, campaign material and way-finding for Frieze Foundation and Royal College of Art, publications for White Cube, and exhibition design for British Council, Turner Contemporary and Firstsite.
