ESAD will be present at ENED – Encontro Nacional de Estudantes de Design (National Encounter of Design Students) with its conference Design Thinking em Portugal – Casos de Estudo com o Modelo Evolução 6’2 (Design Thinking in Portugal – Case Studies with the Model Evolution 6’2).

Katja Tschimmel, professor and investigator, will talk about the model and its applications in five case studies, namely the teaching of design (methodology), the universe of Postgraduate course in Design Thinking at ESAD, the reformulation of the Bachelor degree in Multimedia at ESAD, one investigation project (D.Think) and one company (Roche).

It will also take place a workshop called Evolução 6’2 – Um Modelo de Design Thinking, in which the participants will discover a model through a game with images and cards.

The conference will take place on March 30th, at 10h, and the workshop on the same day, at 16h30.

It is important to make note of the participation on the Small Talks of the projects of ex-students of ESAD, such as Another Collective or The Royal Studio.

The event already counts on three editions, in Coimbra, Porto and Castelo Branco, in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively. Since the 1st edition, the meeting gathers hundreds of students, enthusiasts and renown professionals of Design, with the goal of promoting the direct and free contact during the days of the event, through lectures, exhibitions, workshops and social gatherings, promoting a good environment to networking and the discovery and sharing of new experiences.
