Wood is one of the most used materials, since always, in construction. Used as a surface coating, as structural element for floors, walls and covers or in equipment and furniture, wood as always been a part of the technological universe of the Inhabit.
The transformation technique and the wood application in construction resort to simple millenarian processes, highly effective, allowing a rigorous construction. Witness of these applications are the multiple connection processes of wood elements through joints that, following consecutive tests and experiments throughout history, resulted in highly perfected systems.
The projects displayed, created by the 3rd year students from the Degree in Interior Design in relation to the module Systems of Construction, are a result of an exercise in research, drawing and individual execution of the wooden structure, applied in numerous contexts within an interior project.
