
Embalar o Futuro is a competition promoted by BEL Portugal to drive innovative ideas in Packaging Design.
Bel Portugal owns the Limiano and Terra Nostra brands, which have been part of the Portuguese eating habits for generations. The competition aims to find sustainable packaging solutions for each of the two brands, based on a creative exercise that starts from the brands' identity and product characteristics to explore new concepts, functions and packaging forms.
Packaging is a decisive factor in the purchase of a product. The brands' continuous focus on innovation and development has been decisive for the product and packaging to evolve simultaneously. But the question does not end with differentiation: it is important to be surprising in order to win at first glance, but it is essential to be better in order to build loyalty and act responsibly. It is on this basis that Bel Portugal has for decades ensured the production of quality dairy products, respecting animal welfare and the environment, revolutionising the sector with packaging formats that are more appealing, functional and sustainable.
BEL Portugal aims to use only recyclable or biodegradable packaging by 2025.
