The workshop Designing with obsolete furniture will be led by Wendy Neale. She is an artist who works from her studio in Wellington, New Zealand, to produce a range of carefully crafted handmade furniture and sculptural objects. A Fine Arts graduate from the University of Tasmania and now a Master of Design, Neale works at Massey University's College of Creative Arts. She continues her own practice and is developing a reputation for her diverse use of materials, from recycled timber to crocheted copper, and work infused by a whimsical wit.
