Gonçalo Torres, Edgar Lopes, Ana Ferreira and Bianca Oliveira, students of the Degree in Digital and Multimedia Arts, are the winners of the Utopia Studio, competition that integrated the second edition of DESIGNAgorà, with the project Metapodia.

DESIGNAgorà is a documentary film cycle dedicated to design and architecture, organised by ASCIP Dante Alighieri. Under the theme Li(ea)ving utopia, the organization challenged the students of the Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Matosinhos - ESAD, Escola Superior Artística do Porto -ESAP, IULM University and Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade do Porto - FAUP to produce short films.

Two research possibilities were suggested: Utopia in the city in order to deepen the theme of Utopia, directing the gaze to the city, its most iconic buildings, its most visionary protagonists, among others, and Utopia in everyday life inviting to observe closely, in everyday life, the signs and manifestations that may indicate the way to think about a new reality.

The award ceremony took place at the Natural History and Science Museum of the University of Porto on 5 December.
