
Teresa Franqueira, investigator from the University of Aveiro, presents at ESAD the conference Design for Social Innovation: Why Design When Everybody Designs?.
Teresa Franqueira has a Doctorate in Design by the Politecnico di Milano, a Master in Industrial Design by FEUP/ESAD, a Post-graduation in Industrial Design by Glasgow School of Art/CPD and a Degree in Equipment Design by ESAD Matosinhos. She was also involved in investigation, working with Ezio Manzini in the Politecnico di Milano (from 2006 to 2009), where she also lectured.
She is a lecturer at the University of Aveiro, coordinator of Aveiro’s Design Factory, visiting lecturer in the Politecnico di Milano and Tongji University in Shanghai. She is an investigator for the Investigation Unit ID+ (UA.UP) and coordinator at the ID+ DESIS Lab, international network laboratory DESIS - Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability.
