Design for Obama - Posters for Change

Design for Obama - Posters for Change is an itinerant expository project about the graphism on President Obama’s electoral campaign. Launched in 2010 by the United States Embassy and by the “Escuela de Arte 10” in Madrid, it brings together the proposals of hundreds of artists and designers, who have expressed their support to the Obama’s campaign through the designing of posters, which were submitted on the website designforobama.org, for free download.

The Best Dutch Book Designs 2012

The Best Dutch Book Design, on its 54th edition, rewards the most outstanding books published in Holland every year. Founded in 1926, it is the oldest European event of this sort. The result of the careful selection of a Jury invited for each edition, the controversy over the result has become somewhat of a tradition and has generated a public debate, to which there is a lot of contribution from the designer’s Dutch community. The plurality and the quality of this exhibition, which brings to every corner of the world books that stand out not only for its design, but also for every editorial decision involved in its publication, are an indication of the vitality and importance of the Dutch design.

91st Art Directors Club NY Exhibition

After the inauguration in New York, the projects awarded at the International Annual Awards of the Art Directors Club (gold, silver and bronze) are presented, every year, in the most prestigious institutions around the world and they return this year to ESAD.

The exhibitions are a part of the Communication Design Week programme at ESAD.
