Isaac Piñero and Idoia Cuesta are leading the Product Design and Craft Techniques workshop, as part of the Porto Design Biennale guest country programme and in collaboration with the Fundación Artesanía de Galicia.

Isaac Piñeiro, a Galician industrial designer, has as his main objective to create intuitive and efficient products in their conception, production and design. He has collaborated with various Spanish and international clients, focusing on projects related to products, furniture and lighting.

Idoia Cuesta is based on the fusion of basketry with textiles and the versatility of the resulting piece, through the combination of organic materials with different craft techniques. Throughout her professional career, she has collaborated with professionals from very diverse backgrounds, cultures, experiences and knowledge that have given her new visions of contemporary art, design, architecture, fashion and crafts.

The workshop starts at 10am on 16 November at the Gallery.

Admission is free, subject to prior registration.
