The 30th anniversary of the release of Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation album was the excuse for the development of a graphic reinterpretation project for the cover of the album, putting creativity at the service of music and converting this classic into a reference for a new generation.

ESAD students, from Portugal, and ESNE students, from Spain, collaborated on this project with a view to promoting and encouraging cultural and initiative of an ERASMUS+ teacher mobility initiative.

The presentation of the project includes a collective exhibition of students' work with 26 printed works, a videographic projection and a sonic layer of homage to Sonic Youth.

The project - developed by the students of the 2nd year of Communication Design Degree of both schools, over three weeks - was invited to participate in the 16th edition of the event Esto Es Lo Hay - Artistic and Rural Show Lalueza 2018 in Huesca. After that, this project was presented at Espacio Picnic, Madrid, and Plano B, Porto.
