Sonae proposed a challenge to the students from ESAD: to conceive a transport packaging for the home that expresses the values of the brand KASA, evidencing the peculiar aspects of its portability.

The contest, exclusively destined to the 3rd year students on the Degree in Communication Design, regarding the module Packaging, coordinated by Margarida Azevedo, includes a financial award for the winning student, who will also have the opportunity of follow the project’s development during the realization of an internship at Sonae.

The proposal to be developed for this contest should allow the transportation of cups and plates from multiple sizes and typologies and should ensure an adequate resistance once assembled. A flexible package, easily and intuitively assembled assuring the security demanded for the transport and the portability of products.

The winner was announced on June 15, at the award ceremony.
