The students of the Degree in Fashion Design, Juliana Machado and Adriana Almeida, won the 2nd and 3rd prizes, respectively, in the Higher Education / Polytechnic category of the 2nd edition of 2019 of the Young Creators Portuguese Fashion News Contest.

Juliana Machado created the winning coordinate with Tintex fabrics. Adriana Almeida, on the other hand, used materials from Teamstone.

Ana Campos, from Porto Fashion School, and Maria Gaudêncio, from Lisbon Faculty of Architecture, were the big winners of the 2nd edition of 2019 of the Young Creators PFN Contest. The two young designers were the most voted by the jury in Category I and II.

The 2019 2nd edition of the Young Creators Portuguese Fashion News Contest, an initiative of Selectiva Moda, was presented at the Matosinhos Municipal Market, organized by ESAD and supported by the Matosinhos City Council, on December 13, at 7 PM.

Under the motto Manipulation, there were 20 students representing 14 national fashion schools, with materials from 20 Portuguese textile producers. The jury, made up of 5 leading fashion professionals, selected which students worked best on fabrics from national manufacturers. Each coordinate was evaluated based on criteria of originality, technical creativity, artistic and innovation, as well as the combination and use of new materials.
