Maria João Leite, student of the Bachelor degree in Communication Design, conquered the 3rd place in the 2nd edition of the Galp Create design competition for the creation of a new image for the gas cylinders 13kg (butane) for the Iberian market.

Other students of ESAD have also been between the twenty selected projects and in the final exhibition: Ana Catarina Costa, Gustavo Silva, Inês Logrado Ferreira, Jean Steeg, Joana Oliveira, Rafael Moreira and Rui Camboa.

The competition ran from February to June 2015, and the winner Maria João Leite has received € 1.000 as reward for her project A Hora do Chá (The Tea Hour) in the ceremony that took place at MUDE – Museu do Design e da Moda.

The project was developed within the curricular discipline Graphics and Merchandising, with monitoring by the professors Margarida Azevedo and João Lemos.

It took place at MUDE, in Lisbon.
