ESAD takes part in the exhibition “Civic City: Civic Design and Social Aesthetics”, presented in Paris at the Palais de la Porte Dorée.
On display there will be the projects created by the 1st and 2nd year students of the Master’s in Interior Design, as a result of the workshop An Appropriate Idea, an event related to the exhibition Frontiere - Expressions of Contemporary Design, held at Casa do Design in Matosinhos, a part of the main programme of Porto Design Biennale 1st edition.
These projects are Lignum Vitae by Inês Santana; Tavolo Pieghevole by Alvise Mori and Elizaveta Sergeeva; FEE-KA by Carolina Cerejo and Maria Monteiro; Little Circus by Catarina Saraiva; It's Time to Play by Márcia Gomes and Monique Vasconcelos; Poenceae by Maria Matos and Natália Pinheiro; and La Cabana by Rafaela Júlio and Carolina Michelotto.
This workshop was coordinated by Maria Milano - coordinator of the Master’s in Interior Design and curator of the Frontiere exhibition -, by guest designer Giulio Vinaccia and by the Social Carpentry Project K_Alma.
