The students of the Masters in Design promote a bizarre Christmas bazaar, exploring the Christmas theme and the associated artifacts.
The Pop-Up shop Christmas Bizarre is an event developed by the first year students of the Masters in Communication Design from ESAD.
Students were challenged to create a bizarre Christmas bazaar, exploring the Christmas theme the artifacts associated with it.
This one day event will take place at Maus Hábitos, in Rua Passos Manuel, Oporto, on Saturday 10 December, from 1pm to midnight.
This initiative comes in the course of an alternative experience that the Masters’ students of Design had experienced last year at this time, at the Lófte space in Oporto. Each student was asked to set up a Pop Up Shop only for a day, that is, to conceive a store, its brand and sell the product or experience, becoming a challenge to the conventional trading environment.
Pop Up is an emerging concept in multiple cities around the world and it includes shops, restaurants, bars, and other hypotheses, that settle for a short period of time at a given location. This arises in the context of an emerging and growing form of temporary trade, offering exclusivity, innovation and surprise to consumers.
