This contest for the development of ideas for Sonae MC, organized by BIT Sonae and designated by BIT Hackathon, Patrícia Santos, student of the Master in Product Design, was awarded the TOP 5 Solutions (4th place) and in the TOP 5 Scrum Team (2nd place).

The BIT Hackathon is described as a moment in which new ideas of technological base that make the difference for Sonae MC come to life, and the teams are formed by internal collaborators of the company, integrating one to two university students.

In this creative marathon, which took place on November 8th and 9th, 33 teams, composed of five to six people, formed by Sonae's internal collaborators and comprising students from ESAD, FEUP, ISEP, Universidade Aveiro, Universidade do Minho, ISLA, participated. others, with a total of more than 200 people.
