José Manuel Saraiva, illustrator and coordinator of the Postgraduate course in Illustration and Digital Animation of ESAD, received the honour Best of the Best of the international awards HIII Illustration 2014.

This award is due to the illustration work that José Manuel Saraiva, made to give life to the lyric of the song Sopro do Coração, by Sérgio Godinho, published in the book Sérgio Godinho e os 40 Ilustradores.

The 40 illustrations of the book by Sérgio Godinho were exhibited at ESAD in 2013, presented in the school by the musician with the presence of some of the illustrators, having José Manuel Saraiva made a serigraphy at the time, now internationally awarded.
