ESAD participated in the second edition of the Aveiro Criatech Residences, a program that aims to promote and develop STEAM skills in a collaborative ideation context, with the participation of professionals and students from several creative areas.
Through the sharing of experiences and knowledge and the realization of interdisciplinary activities, the Aveiro Criatech Residences aims to promote a culture of learning, thinking, experimenting, exploring and producing innovation.
From September 27th to October 2nd, the participants in this residency had the mentoring of Patrícia J. Reis, an international reference artist, with tutoring by ESAD teachers, João Castro, João Tiago Santos and Susana Fernando, and UA-DECA, in different creative areas.
The works developed by the residents during the program may also apply for a monetary prize, as well as to be part of the festival Criatech 2021, which takes place from October 14 to 18, in Aveiro.
