The Atmospheres project is the second of three projects developed during the academic year 2020-2021 of the Master's in Interior Design.
In this project students were invited to develop a hotel room or lobby, with the aim of building an atmosphere and environment able to provide a unique and distinctive experience. Branding and communication tools are used to reinforce an immersive experience.
Three different locations were chosen – Shanghai, New Orleans and Iceland National Park – to diversify the target audience and strengthen the relationship with the place, its environmental, cultural, physical and geographic characteristics.
The work developed by students within this project will be presented at ESAD, as part of the Master's self-build workshop Frameworks.
